TC Near Control Panel is developed by com.tcelectronic and is used by 90 users of Mac Informer. The most popular versions of this product among our users are: 2.1, 2.3, 2.5, 3.0 and 3.1. The product will soon be reviewed by our informers.

It seems at first that the Konnekt 6 has balanced analog outputs, but they are so called ground sensing balanced (electronically balanced) outs and their design doesn't allow inverting the phase. The third pin doesn't send inverted signal.

On my PC, installation of the TC Near drivers and associated Control Panel software was a breeze, helped by the A4 Quick Installation Guide. Although no printed manual was included in the box, a well-written English PDF-format manual can be found on the CD-ROM, and can be downloaded in another five languages from the TC web site.

I downloaded TC Electronic's "Polytune Plug-in" but cannot see how to access it via Logic Pro or Garageband. TC Electronics just say "it can be accessed via the FX on your DAW" they also say it has been confirmed compatible with Logic Pro and Garageband. Help?

The TC-720 is a bipolar, heat and cool, thermoelectric temperature controller with USB communications. It is capable of controlling up to 36 volts and 20 amps. One standard thermistor, model MP-3193, is included. A second sensor can be attached for monitoring and alarm purposes. The controller is housed in a die-cast aluminum box and incorporates a keypad and a liquid-crystal display. The display allows the user to monitor the sensor temperature, power output level, and menu settings. The integrated keypad accesses an easy-to-use menu system, allowing the user to adjust all of the basic controller parameters such as the set temperature, tuning parameters, and alarm parameters. The controller can also be connected to a computer via USB for more advanced program control as well as data graphing and data logging using the supplied software. The software is shipped as a stand-alone program, but the LabVIEW source code for that program (version 2018 and higher) is available upon request and a sample read and write command programmed in Python is also available for download.

Labeled wiring cables are included free of charge when purchasing interconnected standard products on the same order (thermoelectric cooling assembly or module, temperature controller and/or a power supply). The number of cables included (1-3 pairs) will depend on the number of components being interconnected.

3D PDF MODEL: Click on the link above to download a 3D model. You can rotate and view the cooler from any angle to better understand the physical properties of the product. (However, wire leads are not shown in the model.) This is a portable document format (.pdf) file, Adobe Reader 8 or higher is all that is required for viewing. 3D content may initially appear as a two-dimensional preview image. Clicking the 3D model with the Hand or Select tool enables (or activates) the model and opens the 3D toolbar.

Watch this video for a detailed guide on how to stop and download data stored on your USB data logger and how to make the most out of the analysis features included in Lascar's EasyLog graphing software.

Data is downloaded in EasyLog software in graphical format. Run your cursor over the graph to see time and date stamped logs. Export all data to Excel for further analysis or view average statistics over a period of time using the EasyLog Summary Report.

Minute virus of mice (MVM) is a helper-independent parvovirus that contains a linear, single-stranded DNA genome with short self-complementary regions at the termini. During an infection of mouse cells with MVM, a high rate of spontaneous deletion is observed. By hybridization with specific probes, it was determined that a proportion of the deleted DNA genomes had retained both termini but contained an internal deletion. Nucleotide sequence analysis of eight cloned isolates showed that internal deletions had occurred at short direct repeats. Slipped mispairing at a replication fork is a possible mechanism for the generation of these mutants. Deletion formation is apparently independent of the cellular background since several drug treatments and changes of host cell line had no appreciable effect.;Two other specific deletion mutants were excised from gels and examined. Each of the DNA fragments consisted of sequence exclusively from the 3' end of the wild type genome. In addition, both terminated within the same six-base consensus sequence (CT A/T (,2)TC). Since the same recognition site is used by the endonuclease that processes progeny viral strands during the MVM replication cycle, it is postulated that these deletion mutants were generated by site-specific cleavage. Since a CT (A/T)(,2)TC motif is also present near the deletion junctions in the internally deleted mutants, the activity of this enzyme may explain the high spontaneous deletion frequency during an infection with MVM.
